Motivation is the Key

ImageEver notice that when there is that special get away and we want to make our bodies beach friendly that 10, 20, or 30lbs is gone just in time to hit the sand? Why is that?

The mundane routine of our daily lives generally does not give us the motivation to keep up with a diet or fitness program, but when there is a goal, finish line, or event everything seems to fall into place.

So that brings it to how to find that motivation. First, know that it is not as hard as it seems. Mentality is the first obstacle, eliminate “can’t” from your vocabulary and make the decision to be healthy. Next, write down the plan to make it real. You do not have to walk six miles a day or go to the gym for 3 hours. As long as you put together a workout that you stick to the pounds melt away. Eliminate junk food, make lunch and dinner at home, and get the appropriate supplements to your diet. Taking in good food alone will make the pounds fall off and excercise speeds up the effects. Finally, just stick to it, normally it take 21 days to replace an old habit. Get over the hump to motivate yourself to be the person you want to be.

  1. You must have (want power). Not will power. I can will myself into anything. But want something (better health) to get up and move your ass is something that comes from within.
